QP created an audio documentary reflecting on the end of an era, in association with Richard Digance. Check out www.goodbyeuptonpark.com to listen, subscribe and find out more.
After 112 years, West Ham United F.C is leaving their famous Boleyn Ground at Upton Park and moving to a new home: the Olympic stadium. Lifelong Hammers fan, BAFTA nominated folk singer and comedian Richard Digance says, “this is a very special story for me, because from the age of 5, I used to go to Upton Park to watch West Ham United. I used to go on the number 15 bus with my Dad, every other Saturday and I didn’t miss a game for years”. Hear more memories in Richard’s 30 minute audio documentary with original music; a bit of history and a good dollop of nostalgia.
Follow the story of this historic ground and team, as Richard takes us back through time, evoking powerful memories for fans, players and locals alike.
